All of our support packages at Safe Backpacker are designed to provide you with comprehensive assistance throughout your backpacking journey in Thailand. Every package includes 24/7 phone support from our Thailand based team, ensuring that no matter what time it is, you have someone available to help you resolve any issues you might encounter, allowing you to continue your adventure with peace of mind. Beyond this, some of our packages offer additional benefits such as Thailand based representatives who will travel to you if needed, free accommodation in Bangkok in exceptional circumstances, support for your family if they need to travel to Thailand and even assistance to help you return safely to Bangkok in case of emergencies.

Once you purchase any of our packages, you’ll also gain access to our carefully curated list of top-choice hostels, highlighting the best places to stay that combine comfort, safety, and local charm. We provide you with insider tips on must-do activities and experiences in Thailand, ensuring you don’t miss out on anything essential during your trip. Additionally, we offer practical advice on how to stay safe whilst traveling, including how to avoid common scams that backpackers might encounter.

For those looking to get even more out of their trip, we offer an optional service for an additional fee. This service includes a travel itinerary tailored to the length of your stay in Thailand. Although optional and only a rough suggestion of things to do, it will help you explore Thailand efficiently and enjoyably. As part of this service, our staff will also provide free pickup from Chiang Mai airport, train station or bus terminal and accompany you to one of our recommended hostels in the city, making your arrival hassle-free and welcoming. Our pickup service is available from 7am-10pm.

  • We can’t “get you out of prison”

  • We can’t provide medical treatments

  • We can’t pay for your flights back home

  • We can’t fund the rest of your trip if you run out of money however, we will help you return to Bangkok for free

  • We can’t pay your fines, but we can try to help negotiate these for you though

  • We can’t stop you making unwise decisions but we will try and help with any repercussions
